Who We Are The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Foundation is a not-for-profit charity with the registration number 11927 2862 RR0001.

Our mission is to preserve, restore, or assist in the preservation, restoration, rebuilding and maintenance of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, as well as receive donations for the permanent preservation of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse.
The Foundation also offers a program of public events including the annual fall auction, lecture series, walking tours, and the annual Founder's Dinner (traditionally the first Friday in December). These events are open to everyone.

HARVEST HOME AT THE ENOCH TURNER SCHOOLHOUSE

Toronto’s First Free School Beckons Everyone to a Harvest Celebration

Join in the festivity with live music, delicious food of the season and local brews. Relive Victorian days with an authentic lesson in the 1848 schoolroom.

Acclaimed vocalist Shannon Butcher and her band perform jazz, pop and rock tunes and Dixon Hall Music School students display their musical talents.

The $55 ticket for this fundraiser includes a drink at the cash bar. Proceeds go to support the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse and tax receipts will be issued for the maximum allowable.

Help the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Foundation continue its mission to recognize the roots and value of free education in Canada.
